2012 Oscar Winners

The 84th Annual Academy Awards were held in late February, hosted by Billy Crystal, marking the actor's ninth time hosting the ceremony. Meryl Streep won the Best Actress Oscar for her performance in The Iron Lady, while Jean Dujardin took home the Best Actor award for The Artist, which also won Best Picture. Michel Hazanavicius won Best Director for the film. Rango won for best animated feature film.
